DEFINES FUSION: INTERNATIONAL LABELS AND IN-HOUSE DESIGNS

foundationIn 2009, Perry’s Group ventured into the retail fashion industry by establishing Fizzfashion Mercantile & Trading, Inc. “FMTI”. From the time of its commencement, FMTI has taken noteworthy strides to the forefront led by the Company’s President, Finina Marie M. Tugade. With the distinction of representing the Philippines in the International Young Designer’s Competition of 2004 held in Paris, France, Finina continues to fuse her artistic talent and business acumen.

FMTI acquired Chocolate Clothing in April 2010. The brand now carries six Australian labels: Sass, Fate, Grab, Aztec Rose, Lolitta, Bella Bodies as well as Finina’s own in-house Chocolate Clothing line. Taking a great concept and pushing it a couple steps further is the direction of today’s Chocolate. Choosing to house stylish, sophisticated boutique labels with significant presence in major fashion centers worldwide, the store embodies the ideology of a box of chocolates is like a woman’s boudoir wherein the varied apparel collections are like a delicious mix of bonbons that mark deliciously fun clothing with a difference! Chocolate has successfully established an image that is synonymous with high fashion, quality, affordability, tremendous style, and exciting designs that exude every unique personality of its multi-faceted clientele.

With a fresh look and a carefully revamped closet, the future of Chocolate is very sweet. There are plans to expand within the metro as well as out of Manila to major cities in the country, which already began in Cebu and soon in Davao. Ultimately, the aim is to bring Chocolate Clothing offshore, defining the fusion of fashion of International and Filipino pride.
